The agent kicked Doctor Who’s face onto the curb in the pouring rain.
“My dear fellow,” said the Doctor, spitting out blood, “I really don’t know what you want from me – I haven’t the faintest idea where Chairman Nakamori hid the secret plans.”
“That answer is unacceptable!” Spat back the Yakuza hitman. “You will tell me who you gave the race-track blueprints to!”
“To whom-” Doctor Who began, a fist in his face preventing him from continuing.
Meanwhile, across town, Lu Ping was meeting with the police commissioner in the backrooms of a Pachinko Parlor.
“Officer Yang, you too work for the Syndicate?”
“Yes, Lu Ping, I am very sorry,” he explained as he took the briefcase of money from the Yakuza operatives. Suddenly, the trash can across the room burst open – it was the Brigadier, wielding a machine gun!
“Lu Ping, get down!” he opened fire, blood splattering all over the kitchen area as the room filled with Yakuza. “Quickly, we have to get to town hall!”
At the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the mayor approached Ambassador Chang.
“Are our operations going according to plan?”
“Yes, my liege.”
A bright neon purple Datsun sports car speeded to the corner, as Ms. Cindy Bell emerged. Suddenly, she produced piano wire from her handbag and strangled the Mayor.
“Excellent.” The ambassador chuckled.
Suddenly, town hall exploded as Doctor Who somersaulted out the front door.
“I’m afraid you’ve fallen victim to a terrible misunderstanding,” Doctor Who comforted the woman. “The man who hired you to assassinate the mayor so that Chairman Nakamori would succeed him and approve the Yakuza racetrack was not, in fact, the esteemed ambassador from the Phillipines…”
Ambassador Chang ripped off his face, revealing the villain underneath.
“My dear doctor, you have been naïve,” his arch-nemesis the Master said. “And now the Yakuza will be able to double their revenues and invest for a controlling stake in Eusidien Thermodynamics.”
“Of course!” Doctor Who realized. “You’re mad!”
Lu Ping and the Brigadier arrived, roping down from a helicopter overhead.
“Now all the pieces have come together…” The Master explained, pressing down a detonator as the car exploded, immediately killing Ms. Bell.
Coming to, the Doctor, Lu Ping, and the Brigadier awoke to the smell of fire and the sound of sirens in the distance. They saw the tattered remains of their once-confidante Ms. Bell, and the Master’s cybernetic body ripped into two by the blaze.
“Next time, we will stop him,” the Brigadier commented.
“No-“ Lu Ping added. “I will stop him.”
Former Chairman Nakamori, now mayor, watching this from the distance through binoculars, chuckled, before removing his face to reveal himself to be the Master underneath. He then powered off.
