That was great! Very enjoyable. Bill seems like a nice blend of Ace and Donna, who are two of my favourite companions. It's also great to see Capaldi with a different companion finally. I'll probably rewatch that tonight.
Good stuff. I very much enjoyed William as a companion - she was far, far better and more engaging than i inferred from her debut in 'Football Cutaway'. She was great, Capaldwee was great, Nard Hole was great as his trusty robot butler.
I only realised this morning, after someone mentioned it on GeeBee, that Bill's step-ma was the lady married to Dougal the Cat Man in 'Gridlock'd'. I don't think it means anything, though.
I really liked the style and direction of the episode. They should try to hold on to the guy.

It was good. The vault is great. If they're going to set up some season long mystery, this is the way to do it, not some impossible plot contortions. Bill was good. I still like Nardole. I even like him cracking wise under fire 'cause he's not supposed to be badass, he's just tagging along and not that invested in what's going on. I like the passive, neutral presence. I liked that it never got into what the spaceship was doing there in the first place, and leaving behind its muck was just some random shit that happened. I really liked seeing the Daleks involved in some big event that has nothing to do with Earth. That's exactly what they need to do to rebuild their credibility.
Yes, a big tick from me too. 'Doctor Who the university professor' is an amusing idea - it's about time he got himself a job. Billharzia very much reminds me of Rose - an ordinary girl dreaming of better. The Tardis interior was nicely introduced and I'd say that Nardole finally clicked for me.
The vault is a good device too!
Jon Pertwee vs Vincent Price. Who is the hero, and who the villain? This battle could cost the Earth!
Everything above (maybe not the Dougal catpilot thing though). Really liked the mystery of the vault.
Also, surprisingly emotional. Some lovely moments for Capaldi. Instantly liked Invoice who seems set to be a splendid companion and shares some wonderful banter with him. Bad Moffat though for immediately commenting on that with Metadole. DON'T TELL ME WHAT I FELL, MOFFMAN!
I enjoyed all of it and did not feel ashamed at all.
Liar! You just went to confession and everything.
