Gallifrey Base is a nice, neat, well run place.
-and for the most part, it's run it a very straight faced manner, but there's this one thing that I find amusing.
Somewhere in the rules, is a section that explains how If you are banned, Gallifrey Base will maintain a respectful silence about why, but if you misrepresent why you were banned elsewhere, Gallifrey Base reserves the right to get on there and spill the beans.
This isn't really an unreasonable policy, but imagining it in practice is quite funny.
Firstly couldn't anyone claim to be "Gallifrey Base".
It seems like it would just boil down to "Oh no you didn't!" he-said-she-said grappling in the mud arguments.
It's hard to imagine that rule coming into play and it not being funny.

Do you think that we should have a rule like that here?

On privacy after a ban: If you are banned from the forum, in most cases your right to privacy shall continue. As long as both parties (Gallifrey Base and the banned member) act in good faith, information about your ban will not be shared with third parties. However, should the banned member break this agreement in a manner such as, but not limited to, posting misleading, erroneous, fabricated, or potentially libellous information about the ban elsewhere, the member loses the right to privacy and Gallifrey Base reserves the right to publicly defend the ban, including disclosure of previously private information about the banned member or circumstances of the ban, should such a defense be seen as worthwhile or important to the well-being and/or reputation of the forum.
