I think we sorely missed out on Lee Marvin, Elisha Cook Jnr and Walter Huston giving us their trampy best. Perhaps if the BBC had been picked up in a big brown hand and deposited in Hollywood, Yugoslavia, everything would be different.
Jon Pertwee vs Vincent Price. Who is the hero, and who the villain? This battle could cost the Earth!
Either that or he found it for a second, thought it was rubbish, and tossed it to the side.
I like to think of all the adventures of the female tramp that Clyde Langer met in that one televisual episode. I often think of her. Alone. At night. In my bed.
What episode was that in? also Timtho, what's going on with your avatar? It doesn't load for me. Does it for you?
The Curse of Clyde Langer. One of those weird Doctor Who episodes where the Doctor Who doesn't appear. Unless Clyde is still a Doctor Who, but he's black, so that can't be right.
My avatar only appears to those who are worthy. Those who have looked into the deep dark abyss of their soul, and demanded from their gods, their ancestors, from the great Hetocumtek himself, all that will be and all that could be. To look upon my avatar is no mean feat. It is nirvana, it is perfection, it is that shining city on the hill, that freshly-baked turkey, that morning dew on a baby reindeer's nose. It is everything and nothing you could ever have dreamed of.
That or I never bothered to load one after I clicked "Use Uploaded/Linked image".
I am intrigued by Clive Langley's [sic] adventures with a lady tramp. In fact, it reminds me of a former acquaintance's (sick) adventures with a lady tramp. Allow me to regale you with the tale:
About five years ago, a guy at the place i used to work came into the office all smug and grinning and shit one morning, and proceeded to proudly boast that he'd managed to wangle a hand job off a homeless lady in exchange for a cheese pastie. I obviously gave him the official Sandiferian lecture on how this was in no way funny, and it was a horrible example of taking advantage of someone in straitened circumstances.
But i did secretly think it was a bit funny, and was kind of in awe of him for a bit. He was known to be a bullshitter anyway, so it may well not have been true. I suspect though that this was - it's totally the kind of thing he'd do. Legend or bastard? Possibly both. The jury can decide.
