A very well crafted tale. Glad to see that the only monsters in the episode were the humans. The villian's motives made relative sense and the speed chess game he played with the main cast. Also glad to see the characters were caught up in events and even went against their principles to make sure the timeline didn't change.
Oh and Yas finally did something!
I have a couple of grumbles though:
1. Elvis with a mobile phone, funny yes, but when the whole plot revolves around 'tiny ripples in the timeline', it jars a little.
2. The whole coda thing seeing her future/asteroid was a little too much. All the points there had already been made in the episode so it felt unnecessary. Also the not being able to land in Sheffield kickstarting the plot but they can park by a single asteroid in space no problem seemed a bit weird.
3. Some of the staged posing the main cast do in a diamond shape they sometimes do when they enter a scene in this and previous stories. Just looks forced and a little odd...

I gave it a 6. I thought this was going to be worse than last week, but it turned out averagey. I didn't like the way all the supporting characters who were white dudes were made out to be the most evilest thing since the Delgado Beard. And I didn't see the point of the racist from the future either, other than to induce a bit of sci-fi into an otherwise historical Who episode. We got a bit of backstory on the character being in the big universal prisony thing that River was in, and then it falls flat on it's face. Who was he? Tipsy's also doing a Tennant, she's looking Doctorish, but she's over-playing it trying to be all David Tennanty like a sad David Tennant Whoshipper
